About the artist

b. Canada based in London, Kristina Chan completed an MA Printmaking Royal College of Art, London in 2016 and BFA from Parsons, The New School of Design, New York in 2013. She has exhibited globally and Musee du Louvre during the 5th Annual Exposure Award Black and White Collection and has won a number of awards including the RSA Guthrie Award, Edinburgh Printmakers Award.

Kristina Chan practice utilises narrative and site specificity to evoke a felt history

She works between traditional printmaking processes and alternative photography to create large scale public installations, and intricate etchings, focusing on local histories and sense of place. Chan has works in the permanent archives including the V&A Museum and the Royal Collection
